I want an F30 but I'm not getting another guitar until I get my fingerpicking down. I can do some rolls but I can't yet put 'em together with a song. Oh John Denver made it look so easy.

Absolutely, practice is the most important thing. What the lessons did was give me a jumpstart, and help me map out what I wanted to do next, even after I stopped taking the lessons.killdeer43 said:The lesson(s) is(are) one thing....it's practicing that really boosts your skill level.dogberry said:I took lessons for about six months and it really gave me a boost.
