As I look over the Threads here I can see that the "Guild Guitar" thing seems to be an addiction.
I guess it's just par for the course. I haven't even received my F30R and I'm already thinking about my next Guild...
Got to love it. I really would like to get a GAD C2.
I have always liked the sound of a classical guitar and usually have one around but sold mine about a year ago.
It was a Cedar top Tak with rosewood back and sides kind of like the GAD C2.
So I guess that's the one I'm looking at ...Today...Tomorrow ... who knows ... But most likely it will be a Guild

Well, my guitar collection has sort of reached a carrying capacity. If I get a new one, it means getting rid of an old one. So, in the abstract, among the Guilds I like to get: an M20 and a F20 burst. It probably won't happen for a while, but it's fun to search, ahh let's just say i'm surveying the market.

F30, I'd seriously consider this one, (thread here) and put the price difference into the likely minor repair. Then you'd have a real US-made Mark II from 1978. That guitar is not too far from me, and I might be up that way Saturday to look at another one. Let me know.

That is a great deal. I'm looking but trying to recover from my last Guild purchase from just the other day.
And I just bought my Daughter a Baby mahogany Taylor.
I hope someone snaps it up. It does look like it could be a winner.

my next Guild(s) will be:

a burst mid 60's-early 70's Starfive IV or V
a late 60's-early 70's M75 Bluesbird
an early 70's D40 or D50
a S-100 C

I want a D55. I know, that would make a double handful of Guild dreads, but, what can I say, I love dreads.

poser,
Great choices. Their size is perfect for 'Nashville tuning' (I keep the M20 strung that way). A completely different flavor that's a welcome break from standard (and nice accompaniment too).

Probably an acoustic. A vintage 12-banger or a nice DV-72 if I can find one.

Are you tuned to pitch when using the Nashville tuning or semi tone down or up?
I've used [from High "E" to low "E"] : 12, 16, 11, 15, 22W, 30W
This is really great when playing with other guitarists. Really adds some flavor to the mix.
I'd love to get an M20 for this. I have a 1950's Stella I tune like this and it's about 1/2 size of a standard guitar.
Here it is tuned for left hand for my son...

but he has really takin' to the Sax now. So I tuned it back to Nashville tuning.

On my wishlist: A 1966 Starfire XII (or IV) in Emerald Green. But needs to be a real nice original condition one... :)

My next Guild will be an electric.

Bluesbird? Duane Eddy?

I love the looks of an M-80. But I don't like the weight.

A little eye candy for the nylon lovers. Because we all love pictures! This is my 1979 Mark 5 I had a good case of GAS for a few months ago. :p

And one for Hans, in case this one is not in his data base. CD 00004, kind of hard to read.

That Mark V's a beauty fixit! They're magnificent guitars, aren't they? I'll never sell my '82; thanks again Tom! 8)
