This Guild player has gotten themselves deep in the weeds. Stolen from a friends page and I don't know the source.

Stop by to see our own Charlie A (@Boss) on the way back from birding and a stroll on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. He was playing solo outdoors at the Castaway Pub in Lavalette. What started out as a beautiful afternoon turned a little ugly when a strong thunderstorm moved through. As it was just starting to rain, I ran up for a photo on the way out.

If you've never heard Charlie play, he's very good and quite entertaining!

Kurt, always a blast seeing you!

I will be back at Castaway's on Oct. 8 and Nov. 5.

"I think we are looking at Chris Hillman (with the Guild) and maybe Roger McGuinn (on the right); but, did McGuinn ever play a banjo?"

Jim McGuinn was the banjo/guitar player with the Chad Mitchell trio back in the early 60's, not part of the group but a sideman. Excellent, excellent player. That is where his use of a thumb-pick and metal finger pick came from when playing his Rics...
