By the way, I don't remember seeing those tuners on an S-100 before. I think all the reissues I've seen have had Grovers. The tuners on yours look just like what was on my 2001 DCE1. Just an observation.

My Blues 90 has Guild tuners as well. I'll have to look up the serial number when I get home, but maybe it's just a late 90s/early 00s thing. Ditto on more pix.

My thought as well - his S-100 is from '99 and my DCE1 was '01. They look like the Schallers on my '74 S-100C, '78 S300-A, and '83 D35 except they have that G-shield logo instead of "Guild." My '96 has Grovers like all the other reissues I've seen (and a lot of other Guilds going way way back).
