Right-o, re GSR's being planned from the factory vs Custom builds being user-request driven, but by the same token Custom builds were traditionally vetted for feasibility before order was accepted so checking inventory would be part of the process.
Also thought Oxnard was set up with that future potential in mind, why I originally suspected capital availability wasn't the real issue, and shutting down some part of production to build a custom wouldn't be an issue either.
My point was that NH was not in a position to vet orders for feasibility before they accepted them.
NH had limited equipment and if they were using it for a special order there was some regular production that wasn't happening. Whether that was a problem or not depended upon inventory and demand.
I also tried to limit my comments to what I was told at NH since doing so was the difference between an informed opinion and idle speculation.
I think we are in violent agreement that user driven custom builds are on the horizon for Oxnard and that capital is not a major factory why they are not there now.
