Never met a Philly Cheesesteak I didn't love!
I lived in Philly on two occasions for a total of 19 years, and can say that a Philly Cheesesteak made with chicken is almost as good as the beef one. Now, I'm too old for anything but a veggie cheesesteak, unfortunately.I've never seen a " philly cheesesteak " sandwich made of anything but beef. All the recipes I just looked up have beef. Hense the question?
Not even a contest: Wiz wit.
No, unless it is pork roll. Can you have pork in a cheesesteak sandwich?
Are the long hots in the roll with the pork and provolone? Oh, wait! You're the jalapeno challenge contestant guy. I'm guessing the long hots are on the sandwich for the heat? No, unless it is pork roll.
As I said further up this thread, "I enjoys me a good Philly cheesesteak ("wiz wit"), but am more enjoying roast pork with provolone and long hots."
Roast pork on a fine, fine, Corropolese roll, some provolone and roasted long hots is a thing of wonder.
Never too late. Are the long hots in the roll with the pork and provolone? Oh, wait! You're the jalapeno challenge contestant guy. I'm guessing the long hots are on the sandwich for the heat?
I just had store lunch ham on store bread and then after reading about these real sandwiches I have decided my meal was inferior. I probably need a do-over.
I suppose, but it would still be store lunchmeat on store bread. I'll just go eat chocolate until I'm over it, or in a sugar coma - whichever comes first.Never too late.
Maybe a local place'll deliver the Florida version via Door Dash:I suppose, but it would still be store lunchmeat on store bread. I'll just go eat chocolate until I'm over it, or in a sugar coma - whichever comes first.

I just finished the Snickers and working on a Twix. Haven't gotten to the Milky Way Midnight yet but so far they're all good, albeit only fun size - but I can eat more to make up for that!Maybe a local place'll deliver the Florida version via Door Dash:
The Best Cuban Sandwich with Carnitas - Slice of Jess
This is the Best Cuban Sandwich Recipe, ever. Piled high with maple ham, Swiss cheese, slow-roasted pork carnitas, spicy jalapeños and zesty pickles.sliceofjess.com
Dang now I'm gettin' all hotted up but one of these things'd probably be about 2 days' worth of sodium for me, even though I noted a couple of 'm do call for swiss cheese...
Oh well. Don't tell me how it was.
Yeah, that looks quite good. I had to google "carnitas" though because I'm not eating any pork parts that have not been properly ID'd. Still not over the inferior lunch sandwich. I need more chocolate.Maybe a local place'll deliver the Florida version via Door Dash:

You want some chocolate?
Chili-Chocolate? Never heard of it but sounds good. I prefer dark chocolate, too, but in a pinch I'll take milk chocolate. That's whay I was saving the Milky Way Midnight (dark) - the best for last.I only like dark chocolate. My favorite is the Lindt Chili-Chocolate, and I always have a supply.
Unless you want to talk about the dark-chocolate covered pretzels made by the chocolate shop in town that are always fresh. I have to force myself to not go in there because I WILL buy a lot of them and I WILL eat them all the same day.

Now I want a delicious sandwich and dark chocolate.
I don't think this is getting any better, and I'm still not in a sugar coma.
The first time I had chili chocolate was in Brussels. I thought it was regular dark chocolate. Boy was I surprised!
