Starfire bass snapped strap button screw fix?

And of note....place the new replacement screw in the new button and measure the depth it will need to go into the guitar. Then wrap a piece of electrical tape around that same depth to mark the max drillingdepth of the drill bits you use to drill/ream out the broken screw so you don't uneccesarily drill too far down.

And remember, if the defect is too big.... wait, this is a Guild acoustic? Lacquer finished? Not sure if i got that yet.... but mostly the pin and the felt will cover that.

I was under the assumtion that it is a Starfire Bass.
