So sorry to hear, Tony. I lost a pal much too sudden, myself. I am sure there are many here who know your pain.

Care to share a photo? A great memory?

Almost like loosing one of your children.
I have one that is just turning 15 and showing the signs.
Our beloved pets leave us much too soon.

Condolences, Tony. The downside to pets is we outlive them. My dog is 11 and she's in good health, but a bit limpy at times. :(

So sorry to hear that . It's always sad. I had a dog for 22 years and had to put her down. I remember the good times only, there really was only good times, and I have a great photo collage to look at  Best wishes

Been there also. Your right. It does suck.
The memories will help you through.

Tony.....Sincere and heartfelt condolances from down here too. We've been there a few times, and each time it hurts much the same....Gutted. I lost my beloved old girl ( a black pug) of 15 years , this past mothers day. She was a big part of my life, and I still miss her terribly ( more than I care to say....) and not a day goes by that one of us here does'nt say " I just MISS HER!!"
Finally, the good times are being remembered, and 15 years of memories are all good.
Takes a while, but healing does come. Knowing you gave her so much love, and a loving home, care , companionship, respect, purpose, and a 'place' in your life, certainly helps too.
Sounds like your Gracie was a much loved part of your family too.
Hang in there.

Tony, sorry to hear about your loss. I've been there more than once and it definitely isn't an easy thing to deal with.

Sorry Tony; take some comfort that Gracie will be with Crimedog wherever all good doggies go.

Hurts like crazy, my friend. I still carry Stormy's picture in my wallet and his memories in my heart.

Wish there was something I could say to cheer you. You'll soon heal, life will go on and the memories will bring a smile; perhaps in time a new great companion to accompany your walks... We look forward to that day. Best... Scratch sends
