Yes Frono, you are right, there appear to be Marshall half-stacks on either side of them, facing in.

The Acoustic amps were early all solid state pieces, usually characterized by the white fiberglass horn in the speaker cab. They made some killer bass equipment with folded horn, "bass-bin" cabs...

Suppose you are right - like Frono said, the vertical stripes on sides led me think they were Peavey. I remember Acoustic brand well. It was very popular among bass players.

Without looking at it…I think this is the performance where Robby Krieger has a black eye (apparently from a fight with his girlfriend). The Doors always delivered on TV IMO.

Another Hagstrom connection is Frank Zappa. He endorsed Hagstrom in the U.S. in the mid-60s (*Absolutely Free* era), though I'm not aware of his ever actually having played one -- at least not in any photos I've ever seen.
