There's a hydro dam not far upstream and another one not far downstream, so the level is well controlled. Even if the upper dam burst, we're up the slope quite a ways; I don't think it'd take us out.Man, I'd be so nervous that the river would flood it out. But that's just me. I'm a nervous Nellie.
Now, 15,000 years ago, there was a glacial ice dam right around here, which would occasionally let loose all the water stacked up in humongous Lake Missoula and unleash a cataclysmic flood all the way down to (what would later be) Portland, lol.
