I worked in a corporate HES (health, environment, and safety) group for about 8 years and even though I'm not a "safety" expert, I was expected to be able to identify unsafe conditions in facilities. Please be safe when you're working around your home. I think I get stabbed by a string at least once while changing strings on guitars. Twice if it's a 12-string.
Anyway, here are a few more extreme examples of unsafe practices and then I promise I'll stop.
Holy guacamole! That's BOGUS man!He shows amazing ability, but I have to wonder how he will get down from that position.
Wonder what the tipping point might be on the large forklift?
I don't doubt it. But then again, the person on the hoist is probably wearing several day's wages in spilled paint...so there's definitely some savings to be found. They'd be thrilled - until they hear the price - about their 10 year's salary.
that actually looks safe. I bet that ladder is totally locked in...
good point, Geo. I was not going to test it out or anything later today, but I have seen worse lolThe way it is set up in that photo, a lot of stress (from the worker's weight) is being applied to the braces (and rivets securing the braces) between the two halves of that ladder.
Very different from having the worker's weight mostly distributed on the four ladder feet.
Yeah, and to his credit, he is wearing a hard hat. Safety first!good point, Geo. I was not going to test it out or anything later today, but I have seen worse lol
