True! Good observation. Muller grommets fit the holes and the spacing is correct. I wonder if someone made a mistake at the factory that's why it was never finished.
Could be just "pilot holes".Holes look too small for the Schaller stud. A mystery.
Perfect fit! I'm thinking Candy Apple.No way, the Müller #10/20 would not have been parallel to the pickup routing! They were always angled I'd say. Also the second set of holes for the tailpiece would be missing.
Could it have been prepared for a Schaller bridge/tailpiece? Fits pretty much the location of the two holes.
So S-282 was a good guess I think.
