Just picked this up with a batch of parts I received. It's drilled for a Muller #10. Was there a model Guild made with this layout? I can't seem to find this version online. Also, what color would you paint it?

The cutout is different. I’d guess Liberator.

I know Guild was using poplar often on its Strat type guitars. I did not think necks though. I always thought all the necks were maple.

It could be a Flyer! I think they used that neck on some. I believe they were almost a "kit" guitar. The bodies were made off site?

It could be the angle but the horn looks different than the s281/2. And that’s not just because I’m insanely jealous of the S282.

No way, the Müller #10/20 would not have been parallel to the pickup routing! They were always angled I'd say. Also the second set of holes for the tailpiece would be missing.

Could it have been prepared for a Schaller bridge/tailpiece? Fits pretty much the location of the two holes.

So S-282 was a good guess I think.
