Glad you got it! The Vintage 30 speakers are a bonus.
The MV is useless on those amps. I disconnected the one on my Pro Rev.

I’m actually not a fan of the vintage 30s . I started a new job so next month once I have some money saved up I’m going for either cream backs or cannabis Rex for it unless I can find some ev speakers

I actually agree, but they're probably better than the stock Fender Oxfords. I'd go with JBLs or EVs. Have fun!

My 2 cents on speakers; I had to replace the speaker in my BF DR, and went with an Eminence Allisandro SC64.
Holy moley does it sound good. Fat, full and no harshness at all. I had a JBL DF120 before, way loud and bright; it could sound good, but was hard to dial in. The Allisandro is much better option, at least for me.

Ev speakers are about $800 cad for the pair . My Mesa has an ev 15l and it’s nice

I put Eminence Lil Texas speakers in mine - sounded great plus some weight relief.

(Not enough for me to bring it everywhere, but a least somewhat manageable.)

I was lucky to score an original Reverend Alltone 1250 pretty cheap for my blackfaced '76 SF Deluxe Reverb, and I'm really happy with it. After being discontinued by Reverend, they've been resurrected again and are made by WGS to the original Naylor specs. There's a 100 watt version too. Worth checking out.

All this in trade for a nice 1 x 12 Boogie that looks somewhat vintage?

Lol some what I still have my Mesa I ended selling a guitar and got another guitar on top also it’s a 79 mk2a with a single 15. And 74 is still early 70s not late not to mention it’s only the 100 watt not the 130 ultra what ever . And what’s wrong with a master volume? The Mesa has one .sorry if I come off a aggressive but there’s nothing wrong with an early 70s twin. The fact is overall the fender is nicer than Mesa . And back to the twin the early 70s where the as the blackface beside the master volume and it’s great because it allows you to actually use it in an apartment.

Fender vs Boogie is a no brainer for me, I never got along with any Boogie amps, no for long.

I got a Trem-0-Verb combo, I thought it was going to be the holy grail, but a Marshall JMP was so much more "upfront", I had to let the Mesa go. Subway Rocket same story, wanted it but couldn't stand it for long.

A buddy of mine had a Twin with MV and 335 way back when, the amp was truly horrible.

I settled on a Blackface Deluxe Reverb for a while, then back to Marshalls.

Now wishing I had a Fender but prices are silly.

Marshalls JMP's were the same story, the MV amps were dreadful.

Give me a 4 input Marshall or non MV Fender amp, and a drawer full of different overdrives, now that's heaven.\

Also, MV's confuse me. One too many knobs.

I've got an 18W combo with MV, post phase inverter, really wish it wasn't there, can't get any proper cleans and the overdrive sucks so I use pedals anyway.

A lot of the fuzzyness is having the master lower than the second volume. I run my master at 5 and don’t have that problem and yes I’m not a fan of Mesa I fought with it for several years. And if you like Marshall’s that would explain why you don’t like fenders . I guess we are polar opposite I’m not a Marshall fan by a landslide.and not liking something doesn’t make something junk
