If you could ask Fender to produce a specific Guild acoustic, mine would be:

A concert sized, flamey maple back & sides, AAA sitka spruce top, satin neck, cutaway electric LR Baggs preamp w/chromatic tuner 12 string.

And you?

A F-50 Brazilian Rosewood, Adi top with Adi scalloped bracing, antique sunburst top, abalone body trim and rosette, maple body and neck binding, bone nut, saddle, pins, Gruhn era diamonds on the fretboard, ebony fretboard and bridge. Please.

Or a JF-100 Brazilian.

I'd like to see the 100's come back, both the D and JF. The DV's would be nice too. Problem is they'd probably have to charge $5000 for a D100 these days.

I wonder if the originals ever had Brazilian, 'Strang... I'll take an EIR/Sitka version, thank you very much. How about Adirondack braces and a Brazilian bridge? :)

I'd like to see a premium grade mahagony version of the D-55, F50 and F512.

I'd like to see some select electric guitars make their return.

I'd like to see a better tobacco burst finish than what their currently offering.

I'd like to see more adi tops on more models.

I'd like to see bone nuts, saddles and bridge pins as standard equipment on all of their instruments.

I'd like to see more Guilds in more stores.

Let's get the 55s flowing first, then the 50s and then the 40s I guess.

More Guilds in the stores is not a factory issue, trust me on this one. (well right now, yes, but in the long term bigger picture it's not, and I'm sure that is what you meant)

I'd like one of those maple jumbos whatever model they were, but with a solid carved back, not pressed 3ply and a little more meat on the necks. These new ones are a touch skinny for me. Ya'll will probably love them. (Of course I think a Lousiville slugger is a good medium thickness neck)

I'd like to see Ivoroid binding, not this stark white stuff. The two little black lines are optional.
How about a laser cut wooden truss rod cover (like Hamer)instead of what's there now?

I'd like to see the old style truss covers, with the white lines.

How about cutaway models without obligatory electronics??

And I'd like to see premium mahogany F body models with necks like the ones on F-47s and Contemporaries.

Well, it did say "pipe dream"...I suppose I could dream up some EIR and sitka, too. According to Hans Braz 612s do exist. I think at this point adding any guitar to my fleet is a pipe dream.

Well, I used to do that but I didn't inhale...

I went to bars but I didn't swallow...

Some of the bars had bare nekked dancing girls but I didn't look...

Wait a minute, did I say inhale or exhale???

Anyway, I still want an F-612...especially if it has a Pete Seeger style triangular sound hole. I mean, as long as I'm dreaming...

Second me to the cutaway/ electronics thing (see below) + everything else below. I'd like to see a US made F20 type guitar too.

A signature instrument would be a harlequin guitar, either RW/ maple or RW/ mahogany, w. Contemporary neck construction yet with fancier inlays of the fringerboard.
