What do you think ???
Just checking in.
I'm a big supporter of Paul Watson and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society in their dedicated and passionate, albeit thankless pursuit to derail/scuttle those Japanese "research" vessels.

Cheers mate,
Joe

*A close friend is in Christchurch and environs for a month, so I'll look forward to his report when he returns.

Best bait is a medium size halibut,

Not a big fish eater, but fresh Halibut is just about the best eating fish in the world. How much meat did you all get off of that one?

Dunno for sure, Alaska airlines bag weight limit is 50 lbs. On return trip, the cooler containing my share of vacuum packed fillets weighed 48 lbs. Fresh halibut fillets here sell for $12.00 - $15.00 a lb.

If he's in the Nelson area and needs a Beer, get him to give us a call. It's 03 547 4716.

Big fish, little fish, any kinda fresh fish, I love it all! Especially sushi. It reminds me of my favorite food. 8)

I'm not a fan of little fish either! But a nice hunk of fresh still bleeding halibut, sliced thin, then flash blackened in butter with some lemon, and a couple cold Red Hooks, and I'm in!

A very wise man, a mystic perhaps, once said, "Don't fear the veer."

Well, the veer is alive and well on this forum and like a good shot on the back nine, it's one of the many reasons we keep coming back for more!

And now, dedicated to Coastie, ahem:
"Some forums call it a hijack, but here we just call it a veer,
'Cause for us it's only a sidetrack, on the road from there to here"
