Well, it's not that Guild Doyle Dykes signature I'd been drooling over, which someone suddenly bought after it had been up on reverb for a full year. And just as well, since that was a rather shallow "grand orchestra," not a jumbo. The DD was a very cool guitar, but.... not a jumbo.

But I must have been ready to buy something, and I came down with an acute case of GAS. Thought I had that licked!

Anyway, any guesses? :tiger:

"In a week or so" makes me think you are not buying from a dealer because dealers take first buyer with funds. So, you found an individual that is selling one or more guitars and the one that gave you the worst case of gas --- Epiphone Sheraton.

I am thinking jumbo, and you already have a maple jumbo, which is why I guessed F512. My last guess is F212XL.

Man, I had a very nice one of those out of New Hartford. I had to sell it to fund the Gibson Songwriter 12. I'm not too regretful about that exchange, since the Gibson is pretty nice. But no, I didn't pick up another F212XL.
