Well I made a road trip today from my home in Toledo Washington to Corvallis Oregon. I found this CMG built 2018 F40 traditional. It’s very lightly built which must be a feature of the Oxnard built Guilds. It sounds incredibly loud and the bass is very prominent yet still articulate in the higher register strings. I’m impressed. It’s set up very nice and lots of fun to play. I have to make a video of my guitars tuned similarly so a good comparison can be made. It’s a jumbo size with a 17” lower bout. CMG makes them with bone nut, saddle and bridge pins. The braces are Adirondack spruce. I’m not certain if this is a Ren Ferguson influenced model but my hat is off to the CMG for keeping Guild a very high quality built guitar
