Except the logo, so it must be from a different time period.

Sorry, Should have said looks similar to yours. My 1984 NOS Aviator came with the Original case which is the same style of case but has the Brown Marble covering with the black ends. Your case and the one in the ad are 2 of only 4 I have ever seen in the Peach/Flesh tone color. It's pretty cool regardless.

I used to have one just like the one pictured. Peachy color and a black/silver Guild logo. It wasn't original to the guitar that came in it, which was from the 50s.

Somewhere there's a web page with pictures of these and other vintage Guild cases. But I can't seem to find it, today.

If I recall correctly, HB1's will fit the routs and the neck bezel/pickup ring.

My I ask how heavy this baby is (not the weight has ever stopped me in the past, but my shoulders are starting to give).

I have a set of HB-1's but honestly I'm really digging that Lawrence in the bridge. The neck pickup I might have to replace with something else. It sounds pretty bad to me. Very tinny. As far as the weight, it's pretty heavy. It feels about the same as a few LP's I've owned in the past. I would guess around 10 pounds. I just did a right hand/left hand comparison with my 97 RI S100 and they feel about the same.
