Hello all. New here and I am waiting on the delivery of a new Guild. Hoping I have made the right choice. I play mostly fingerstyle, very little strumming. Like smaller bodied guitars but can feel comfortable playing a dread. Anyway, I have a Tacoma made F30 heading my way. Adi top, Hog back and sides. She's coming from B. Bros. in California and heading to Florida. I hope they are accurate in their description of the sound and playability of this guitar. I know I have a 48 hr. approval, and while that is somewhat comforting, I would dislike the hassle of having to send it back and start over. Anyone on the forum have one or played one?And have good things to say about it? Thank you.

Welcome to LTG! haven't heard or played a new F-30, but think there are a couple members here who have... Don't think you will be disappointed.

Welcome Play4 me,

Odds are heavy in your favor on the F 30. I've played three of em here in local shops & loved them. They didn't last long hanging in the shops either, sold quickly.

Let me add my welcome as well Play.

I only briefly played an Tacoma F-30 in Texas and I liked the feel of the guitar very much. As for sound, hey it's a Guild, 'nuff said.

Enjoy and post pics. :D

Fear not! You are going to love it and I commend you on your selection. I played a sunburst model at the local music store and that adi top was really something. Welcome to the group, you'll love it here.

Hi Play and welcome! I think you'll be very pleased with your new guitar. We've got several BBers here in FL including me in Juno Beach - where are you? Again, welcome! cj

Welcome... I'm fairly new here too and have been really impressed with how friendly the folks here are. (Refuse to comment on a certain guitar forum where I was told to return when I had a REAL guitar...)

Hey, thanks everyone for the warm welcome! And the support on my new Guild choice. It is due here on Friday, which can't come soon enough. With the weather being so cold here in Central Florida (10 minutes from the Space Center) I am thinking it is going to need time to acclimate to the temp. before I even open the box! Which prolongs the anticipation that much more. Thank goodness I have teenagers, if nothing else (grey hair, premature aging etc.! ) they have taught me patience.
Once again, thank you to all... :D

Oh, we're always friendly to newcommers - it's when they're hooked on the site and really taken in we get nasty.  No, actually we're quite harmless. A very warm welcome to you!

I only show a different face should somebody dare touch my Willy without my concent - or should that someone have forgot feeding me some rohypnols before doing so.
