I had not immediately realized these are from that Greek seller who's already been on Ebay a few years...

The Greek alphabet has no "J", though - odd that they would pick that as a name..

i will have to check out the Gabojo ! sounds interesting;

i do like the T-armonds,i just don't think they sound like a dearmond.
i like all large bobbin single coils P-90s,P-13s,charlie christians, Franz,Todd, hilos,GFS surf 90s, Bigsby,the C.A.R.,shane larsons, carvin AP-6 ,mosrite,tele bridge,etc!
i could probably get by fine with the aforementioned reissue pickups!

Dunno, still think its an extremely limited market. You're basically looking for someone that's looking to pose with a style of guitar, rather than play one that's useful. In essence, Guild have reissued a beginner's guitar, with limited fret access and limited sonic range. At $1200 street (is that correct?) you're probably better off buying a vintage Gretsch Clipper for less money.
They have their place. The same way someone wants an LP junior, why not a single neck pickup?

I suppose. It just doesn't seem to me to be a big enough "niche" for which to reissue a model. Arguably, the LP Junior could be utilized for a broader spectrum of music (but I don't like those guitars either).

We'll see if Thomann sells out their limited numbers anyway.

I wonder if this will be the last of the Korean Guild 'leccies.

Perhaps so, Walter. It seems that many/all the electrics are making a transition to Indonesia. I don't think we've had any confirmation of that from Guild or anything, but that's what it looks like. The conjecture (lately) is that Korean-built is going away.

I'm not seeing this. Not sure where you get that info from?
Ralf
Like I said, conjecture, Ralf. I know several of us have said this here, based on the evidence of many new models coming out of Indonesia (and Starfires migrating there as well) but again no real info to show.
