Righty tighty, lefty loosey. Except for wire twist ties in the kitchen, those are reverse thread.
That's because the people who designed the machines which originally twisted those twisties were left-handed, and devilishly wanted to the world to feel their pain!Righty tighty, lefty loosey. Except for wire twist ties in the kitchen, those are reverse thread.
Gesundheit!
Mosby, the cat, thought twist ties were the best toy in the house. On morning we woke up and found a loaf of bread in the hallway. Mosby had been feisty and wanted to play so he jumped up on a kitchen counter and came down with a twist tie still attached to a loaf of bread. He then dragged it up a flight of stairs and down the hall before he realized it weighed about half of what he did and gave up.You should see me trying to open a loaf of bread.....
It's a lot easier if you open the bag first. You should see me trying to open a loaf of bread.....

Born cross-eyed and never looked back.Yeah, I've often wondered about that. What's wrong with those people?Righty tighty, lefty loosey. Except for wire twist ties in the kitchen, those are reverse thread.
Our cat loves those twigs of grapevine that come on some Italian wine. I pull them off and throw them to him. He chases them around the house. A bonus is that unlike any stuffed mice we’ve bought him the dog doesn’t see any need to chew them up.Mosby, the cat, thought twist ties were the best toy in the house. Woohoo!! I finally get to leave Fla tomorrow morning and head back to Md. But first a stop at my friend's house in Jacksonville Beach. They're having a Blues Festival all weekend, and we'll be attending tomorrow night. JP Soars is headlining. Never seen him before (he's a Fla mainstay) but I've watched his vids on YouTube for many years.
I'm only passing through fri evening/night...then leaving sat morning for a full day's drive home. Unwind Sunday, back to work mon morning.Sounds like a great weekend in store for you and your friend. I wondered if you would see him on the way back. Looks like the door delay timed it just right for the festival. Enjoy!!!
