I'd really like to ask the cutie-pie (of my age) behind the register out for dinner. She's adorable and blonde and we chat during the ringup.
I mean, I did something similar with someone else a few years ago, and it turned out that she had a husband. What was even worse, at dinner he ordered two desserts! Talk about awkward...

Apparently in the past jiga was a fairly common pronunciation, at least according to thirty seconds of googling.

Last night's storm was CRAZY!! Wow it was LOUD and FURIOUS there for a bit. Started about 9pm with the lightning and thunder and then came the rain, which we really need. It seems like it used to rain like this all through summer. We called it the Monsoon Season. Now hardly ever. And there is serious flooding here when it rains but luckily we're up on a bit of a hill. Water would have to be 5' high to even get to ground level. So we're happy to have no problems here. It was fun with all the storm and rain and lying in bed just listening to it all. By 10 o'clock I was out cold, so not exactly sure how long it went on, but not much more than that. I haven't been outside yet. Thursday is when the landscapers come to clean and blow everything so, of course, Thursday night is when the storm comes! They'd just cleaned up all the leaves and pine needles from last week and I'm sure it's a mess out there again. These huge old pine trees sure can make a mess.

Monsoon season in SW AZ is real heavy this summer vs the last couple. Torrential pours like every couple 3 days. Will last another 2 weeks too. Great to get so much water, but last night, 3 am, I am watching the water level creep towards the sliding glass door .
