This is cattyness I can relate to.

Our has been a source of Oxytocin and wonder, always doing some strange new thing, like cruising trees.

It turns out work and play are the same thing ;]

Can you imagine if it was twenty times your size?

Cruising the plum tree for problems.

This cat is so freakin weird, the most anti social cat I've ever seen. Will not warm up to anyone else, doesn't matter who they are, how often they come over, if they stay a couple days. Totally freaky about strangers.

If I put her on my shoulder to calmly try to show her another person, she claws pretty hard and will bolt off.

The least sociable cat I've ever seen, but she will follow me around the yard all day, gallops ahead of me here and there.

Yesterday, I had to severely chastise her for stalking Monarch butterflies on Sweet Williams. With an unending flurry of "NO!" commands, I got her to restrain herself to just merely looking at them while ready to pounce and then she got one anyway, but putting down my guitar and running over she let it go and it flew out of her mouth.

Mmmm, butterflies.

I live in Forida above the "Iguana line," at this point. I've decided that when these things finally get here from South Florida it will be time to head back North for good.
Where is the iguana line? I just read an article and looked at a map that shows them all the way up to Jacksonville. Also mentioned Merritt Island, so Fixit should be on the lookout!

In addition at the time the article was written people called "cullers" got paid for every one they captured. It didn't say if it was an old west "dead or alive". On the bright side, if they get to where you are you could have a new source of income!

JACKSONVILLE 😳!!! I'm 90 miles SOUTH of Jacksonville. I didn't know. I guess it's time to call my friends in New Brunswick Canada! Apparently someone moved the line before they contacted me. The last I heard it ran roughly across the state from Melbourne to Tampa.

Actually, I'm more concerned about Cane Toads moving northward. They are highly toxic and can kill your pets very quickly. Paradise, indeed!

I'm in San Juan, P.R. on the first real vacation I've had in ten years. Coming home today, although my flight has been delayed from 5:30 am to 1 pm. 😕

I was able to get in one last morning walk along the beach though, so it's an ill wind that blows no good.

Interesting...wasn't that aware of cane toads. I see a toad occasionally in the yard, think they are native but will look closer next time.

The "Chicken of the Trees" is supposed to be pretty good tasting:
