I have two ghost label guitars (a '59 F 30T and a '60 M 65) and while the printed labels are very clear, the info was evidently written in the disappearingThe label is so dark and so clear, I find it hard to believe that the serial number and model number faded but the labeled didn't.
I'm not home but I'll snap a photo there is absolutely nothing on the back.
Could the neck have been replaced early on with one that did not have a serial number?
Would it be possible using a blacklight seeing it again? Not sure if one tested this....sometimes the writing fades to the point that it is no longer visible.
We used black, red and green light, not even a trace or indentation.Would it be possible using a blacklight seeing it again? Not sure if one tested this.
