Gorgeous guitar. Looks to be in great shape, too. How's the pickup sound?

I'm also curious about the amps tone, but I'll ask in your amp thread.

Sorry for the absense -- thought this thread had died. The pickup sounds tame next to a hot humbucker. I keep coming back to this guitar because it's got great acoustics on its own and I think the mild pickup actually compliments that. I've got a couple of pedals that can boost the signal, but I'm not doing medal with it so I find that it cuts just fine by itself.

That's a reproduction pickguard?

Plexi ordered from Pickguard Heaven with a vintage decal applied. I was really
lucky to find the decal on ebay. You know, sellers want a fortune for a
genuine pickguard. I will probably break down and buy one at some point, but I
almost like my custom job better.
