I don't know - I've seen the one-sheet, but I'll take a closer look. Ralf it's not Duncan - but I can't really say too much until the official release,....you know?
I don't know yet, but can find out.@Walter Broes @DrumBob have you guys heard anything about whether or not it'll be coming out of Oxnard?
1970'sWonder which year it is based off?
I wonder if that means it will have a skinny 1970s neck profile.1970's
just curious.I don't know yet, but can find out.
I just played one at my local store here in Austin. It is made in Korea, with gold hardware, the Soundgarden King Animal emblem on the truss rod cover, Kim Thayil's signature, and the Soundgarden circle logo on the back cavity plate.
The guitar is made in Indonesia, according to my contact at Cordoba.I just played one at my local store here in Austin. Not sure what source you are using but the right picture is simply an incorrect photoshop version to me. Nickel screws on TRC and pickguard and pickup frames...Comparing the pic in post #41 and one recently found on-line, it looks like the model may have the original wide-top 70s headstock shape rather than the Newark Street headstock (50s symmetrical style with a hump top). It will be interesting to see what it really is. And if it is the 70s shape, that would be a first for a non-US Guild electric, no?
Maybe you're right, but I like the big headstock better.is simply an incorrect photoshop version
I'm sure you can ask Thomann already....but no EU so far...
That one has the big headstock. And in Canada:
Ah, I didn't notice, but no other stock pictures...So the verdict is still 2:1 for NS headstock. That one has the big headstock.
