I developed this phobia in the Navy, Damn, I hate waiting in lines.
Well the demand for testing has gotten a little crazy around here because of the Omicron. You can make an appointment at a CVS or Walgreens, but they're about two weeks out. Everybody was sold out of home tests so the Walk-In was the only option. It started Saturday with a scratchy throat. On Sunday I went out a ran a training 5K. Had low low grade fever on Monday. Then yesterday (Thursday) I ran some fartleks. Don't feel sick at all! Going out to shovel snow in a couple of minutes!Sorry to hear you're under the weather. Hard to believe they make people not feeling well stand in such cold for over an hour, and then send them to sit in the car for two hours. You're a better trooper than I would be!
Hoping you feel better qiuckly and that your Sunday test will also be negative. Enjoy the down time, as much as feeling ill will allow.
Gotta agree with that. Riding my bicycle around here is a risk. Some people actually think it's fun to clip your handlebars and such. It's like a game to them. People here are having the same problem with COVID testing. Home tests are sold out. Clinics that perform the testing are booked. To get tested today, you're gonna have to wait .... a long time.Sorry, but bicycling will never be safe if they are allowed to ignore red lights or any other traffic laws. It's already unsafe given all the stupid things people driving vehicles do.
