How many of you have an S300 or other model with the same shaped body?

She has a 1976 serial number on the neck as she is a bolt on neck version. But didn't leave the factory before 1979, maybe even later as the pot codes are 7914 and those are pot codes used on several Guilds as late as 1983. Guild had a ton of those 7914 pots. She was part of that initial run in 1976 with the bolt on necks. Hans told me only that she "was completed with left-over parts and put together much later than the initial short run."
I can only say she is a great guitar.

@GAD, I realize this is an old post, but did everything work out for you?

The Hoyer? I've got it and it's glorious:

And that's yet another guitar that I bought and never took proper photos. Sigh.

Sort of in pretty good condition, Gary. (I think you were commenting on my photo?) It photographs better than it looks in person. Lots of dings and there is a lot of crazing in the finish. Having said that, it is structurally very sound and plays well. I need to dig it out and get some photos of the front.

Sunburst S300ADs are pretty rare in my experience.

That's the one! Great! How long was it hung up in customs for? Just curious. Great that it was worth the wait!

Oh man - I don't remember, but it's one of my prize guitars.

Do they sound different than an SG or a S-100?
