I'm kind of hoping it's a Chibson Though, looking at it, the headstock is the wrong shape, the cutaway looks wrong and it's got a three screw TRC, so probably not a real Gibson.

I don't understand what the RAM cards are doing, but I'm deeming it a hot mess mod given the rusted saddle adjuster screws, strings and pickup pole pieces.

I read that Chet Atkins and some other mid 20th Century guitarists use to have to do that growing up, either becuase of lack of money or because they lived too far out in the country to have access to strings.
