If I do this right, here's a headstock image probably few of you have ever seen. Unfortunately it's not a rare Guild, but a 1930s Metro B archtop. Supposedly made by Bacon and Day.
It's got a nice, mellow sound, not unlike the Epiphone Olympia that David Rawilings plays. Action is a little high and some minor buzzing above the 14th fret, but all in all a nice little gutar.

Here there's the G-shield of my CV-2C, with some custom features: rose truss rod cover and Imperial tuners, I think the Grovers are a good match for the contemporary "art decò" shield.
 Treemster!!! Happy New Year!!!
My, What Beautiful headstocks you have.
I haven't seen this thread before............Lots to look at and enjoy. Too Cool!
Interesting to see this thread resurrected, and even more interesting to scroll through the pages from the beginning. There are several names that we don't hear from anymore. Hmmm....
This thread started before my time here. Great to see all the great photos..... took some time getting through it all. I'll play. Here's the D65s......
This has been a great experience. One thing for sure is that Guild produces the nicest head stocks of any of the big 4 ( imo ) Lots of names that I don't see around though but they sure shared a lot of gems
Nice to see your guitar journey Treem.
Happy days are here again
