I'm glad I sold off some of my more expensive pieces before the current sales climate of crazy prices and subsequent taxation.
I bought this for $1500, very near mint, local. Sold it when the time was right apparently.
First of all, some of these older guitars are dogs, I don't care how tarted up, and it would scare me to ask this much for a guitar, and then be taxed, while the buyer is taxed. What are we, just mindless revenue?
This much.
Just say no and trade.
I think I'll just go back to perusing local offerings and doing straight across trades like the old days.
This is not a rant about taxation without representation which is tyranny, but just a common sense approach for the future of the hobby.
Let the trading begin ;[]
