I would much rather see the luthier/builder spending lots of time tap tuning the top and shaping braces to get best tone- things a machine can't do- and leave the cutting to a laser so that all of the joints were tight without any drudgery. It seems to me that letting people do what they do best and machines do the rest is why we are now in the golden age of luthiery...until the wood runs out.
