Very nice flaming on the arched one-piece back.
The neck is real different in that is not maple. According to Hans' book some 412s were built with Paduk necks, but they stopped because of finish and wieght issues. The finish is a a bit funky and the guitar is rather neck-heavy. The neck wieghs as much as the rest of the guitar.

Neck body joint. As I said the neck has been reset. It has great action. When I bought it I was told the original owner traded it in on a new JF30-12. I bet his new one doesn't sound like his old one!
