I'm going to refer you to a picture you posted of PlayinPotter's new 60th's F30 Anniversary Guild case badge. It is the same as one of the designs presented on Brian Leach's portfolio website. Logical inference applies here, I believe.fronobulax said:ladytexan said:Ryan Adams is now a featured Guild artist?
I think the jury needs to remain out on this one. No one mentioned Ryan Adams until Sandy asked if that was him with the 12. We still don't have a definite ID. Furthermore we are talking about a concept for a marketing and branding campaign, which Guild might not have bought, so the photo could have been of someone else or altered by the graphic designer.
The campaign is pretty neat, but the two or three designers I know are not actually allowed to post a their design work in a portfolio if the work had been purchased for a campaign. They have to wait until a certain time has elapsed or the company actually uses the campaign. So what I think we are looking at is a designer's concept and not anything Guild has vetted and will be using.
IMO YMMV
I can't confirm Ryan Adams as a Guild featured artist...that was the reason for the question. All we do know is that Ryan Adams has owned and played a Guild D25 at some time during his career.
Chill, Bro........
Hmmm, sure looks like Guild bought the concept to me, Frono. Either that or they just opened themselves up for a big lawsuit.
As for the possiblitity of Ryan Adams being a Guild artist; while I think it would be really cool, I also can't see how FMIC could possibly be upset about a few of us ruminating about that possibility here.
