Being a smarty-pants here, but I see people bump into this a lot and this little tidbit might be useful to a few folks; I removed the media link in your quoted post so the full URL to which you are referring may be seen.
The actual link to the item is only this part:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/274982307289 (in other words, the first part, the normal-looking domain name and item number.)
The 1113-character hash
after and including the question mark (which I have bolded), right after the link proper, is completely unnecessary and you can safely delete all that, it is just a session tracking hash generated as you browse a site (eBay, in this case) and does nothing for the person who clicks on your link.
It's good practice to remove all of that session hash for a number of reasons. It's cumbersome and exceeds character-limits on many sites, so a partial link would only lead to a "page not found". Plus some long hashes may contain more than enough information for your own account to be compromised.
