:D Yes you do have many more years! Just out of curiosity, how much was the guitar you traded for the DV72 worth in your estimation, if you don't mind my asking?

moto, what do you think of the S&P?

They are made here in Canada by the Godin Company that also make Seagull, Norman, Godin and Art & Lutherie.

I like the Seagull line. I had an S12 and will probably own another Seagull at some point.

I have played a couple of the S&Ps and they seem very nice.

Sounds like a good trade to me Moto. Mine has really grown on me. In fact lately I've noticed how different the tone of the DV72 and DV73 are from my D55. They all sound great in their own right with the DV's having a more mellow tone and the D55 being very powerful. The DV's are my favorite players for my style though.

That's it exactly,

West,

Where were you when I was trying to describe the sound of my DV 62.

D55's are big & bold & My DV 62 is more mellow & sweet.

Yep, perfect for fingerpicking in my book Jeff. The D55 has no equal for flatpicking, but these DV's are so sweet and mellow when picked lightly.

That's why I guess I've never understood why so many people go to the smaller bodied guitars for fingerpicking. With the DV's you get the ability to do both.

I'll bet that GF60 is a fine fingerpicker!

It fingerpicks like a Steinway. Unbelievable, kind of hard to carry on a conversation in the same room with it.

Sizewize I think if you had it around for a while you might come to like it. She's a bit more cuddly, sits in you lap very friendly & her upper body is more curvaceous, holding your arm around her waist all night is real comfortable.
