I've had my Tacoma DV-6 not quite a year, now. It looks exactly as your pictures show. I really like mine; it is a fine instrument. It probably deserves a more skilled operator than me,
They only made the DV-6 in Tacoma during 2007 and 2008. This may or may not affect value down the road a decade or two.

It was made April 18th, 2008. Guess it is sorta NOS since they have not made them since last year. He said they did not expect to get anymore of the DV-6, and that the next ones they recieve they expect will be the DV6 (Mexican Made).

How 'bout that. If I have my tea leaves aligned correctly, mine was built April14th, 2008.

Edit: By the way, congratulations on your new purchase!

Seriously, I played quite a few of the Tacoma DV4's & DV6's (was always curious because I have an unbelievable Westerly DV6), but I don't think I ever saw one with nicer grain... your photos are really great too. Just looks like they took an extraordinary amount of pride piecing that one together. Congratulations!
