Ah, in early '72, my lovely wife was working at some place that did microfiche (and had bi-monthly ammonia leaks), I was working at a one-stop record
wholesaler (at $1.65 an hour--he even let us work overtime--for the same pay) and our band was playing everywhere we could play for free. Later that I felt so bad that we moved to Leucadia so Vicki wouldn't have to work and I was getting $200.00 a week! Of course I was working for my dad stripping furniture
with no gloves or respirator (as I had in high school) but hey! Methylene Chloride is great for clogged sinuses!
