Oh - what a delight it would be :

To be at FOH mixing an extremely musically scillfull trio of bagpie-banjo-accordeon - on a large venue with adequate PA-system.

On second thought - maybe a quartet - with a splendid percussionist.

Just think of it - any instrument alone might be delightfull or horrible - but combined with others - YUAMMY 😍

^ I had my shot, for that sort of popularity. Very pretty girl. Sweet southern accent. North Carolina, I think. Then she asked if I could play " Old Man " by Neil Young. Sorry, I don't know that one. Then she asked for .... ( another Neil Young song) . I didn't get a chance for strike three. If only she liked James Taylor or John Denver or even Paul Simon!

I hope you've added Neil to your repertoire by now! ;)

One of my Highschool girlfriends pursued me because I played guitar in the battle of the bands. Or a talent show. Or something. It was 1981, so…

Walrus,

Not really. A friend sings some of his songs and we've played a time or two, but I mostly just get the chords and fake it. I really need to build my acoustic skills back up. I've focused on electric and solos for a bit.
