A half stack like that? If the cabinet is a 4x12 then it could weigh 80-100 pounds or more. The amp head probably another 25-50 pounds. People refer to the transformers in 100W amps as "big iron" for a reason. :) The speaker cabinets are often made of 3/4" plywood and the good ones are even denser Baltic Birch, and then there are the speakers, each of which is pretty heavy on its own.

Ooof! I won't be picking that up, it weighs more than I do! But if you don't mind when you choose your assisted living facility please let me know which one you select as I would most certainly enjoy rocking on the porch!

Or ... maybe LTG should start our own!
