I read through the 6 page thread recommended above. Boy, the more I read about my F212 the more I question the wisdom in selling it. When I read about, and see the pictures, of the wear on the guitar tops from the pick or the fret wear,,well, I have no noticeable pick wear on the top and very little fret wear on my guitar. I envy those with greater wear as it's a testimony to their dedication to this endeavor. Keep up the good work ! Here's a little history of my F212: I have owned it for about 15 years. I have hardly ever played it in those 15 years. I own a Yamaha FG-375S 6 string that I play mainly and even that one gets very little use. I bought my F212 from a senior woman (who I believe was the original owner), who used the guitar at her church. Therefore the guitar has never been inside a bar, club, of seen the presence of a stage, (unless church counts). I don't think the woman I bought my guitar from ever went above the 3rd fret--really. Lack of use is the main reason I'm selling it along with the fact that I've been unemployed for a while $$. I never realized the higher end of the pricing range was $2500 (mint). I kinda knew the lower end of around $800. I hope I don't rub any members the wrong way when I still ask for an honest offer. What drew me to joining LTG was I felt comfortable after reading on the site a bit. I feel that members here are more knowledgeable about the value of my F212 than I am and will offer a fair price. If you want to PM me with an offer feel free. Thanks again for all the help everyone has given. So far this site has been everything expected.

Here you go Joe: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sightted/ He edited it in to his original post. As Chaz suggested, some stress/thermal fractures in the finish and since it's starting to lift, probably needs to have the bridge refitted ... a $75-$125 fix common to the model. Good luck Ploiter! CJ

I am now officially a "Seller" on eBay. So I am just giving everyone here a heads up that I will be listing my F212 on eBay probably in about 10 days (I have 24 auctions up now and need to sort that out first---books and stuff like that). Therefore my price here, ($1050), is flexible for now. Once my listing hits eBay I have to run it exclusively there and will be putting a link to it on here. Thanks again to everyone here with their help along the way.
