I though I would eventually outgrow the early stuff, but...fortunately for me, I never did....and now after amassing upwards of 60-70 unofficial live recordings of theirs...all 62-66, crap PA's, no monitors to speak of, it simply AMAZES me how great these musicians really were. They definitely put in their 10,000 hrs before they broke big, and it showed. To not be able to hear each other at all and still harmonize beautifully...for Paul to sing lead and switch on a dime to take high harmony on choruses. Pure magic. Yes they were a "boy band", but boy could they play!!It would probably be something from Rubber Soul or Revolver, but I'd have to pull them out and listen. I wasn't a huge Beatles fan, they hit when I was in HS and had been a blues and jazz fan for a few years, so there early stuff didn't impress me, I did find there later stuff better, but never to the point that I wore them out.
