Has anyone here noted that the inlays referred to in the title were mass-produced and could be purchased in bulk back when these guitars were built?
I was buying production inlays back then (for banjo 5-string conversions) and routinely saw these as catalogue items from my source (a supplier in New York). Since I already had a Guild 12 with these inlays, I thought it would be fun to add these to my F-312 (blank ebony fretboard). Never got around to doing it, but I like fret markers, so it still seems like a good idea.
