Delightful. I guess no one explained to him how thin-net worked.I didn't have that sort of discovery, but back in 93 our district built a new school. We told the contractor we used coax cable " thin-net " for networking. So... the guy installing the cable did it like TV. I had a 2000 foot run in one location. But, even better, he used a cable splitter to feed multiple classrooms and hid it behind a panel in a built in closet in one of the classrooms. I think I used some sort of tv coax cable tester to find the distance and did some testing of length in various classrooms to figure out where to look.
