Archtop.com is $300 for TKL case without Guild Logo. That’s a lot!! I will check into the Guild Jumbo Case. Check the measurements and make sure to order from Guitar Center or Sam Ash website so if it doesn’t fit I can take it back to my local store for a full refund without having to pay for return shipping.

I measured the jumbo acoustic case, and it is 1/2" wider than the original case at the waist and at the lower bout. The fit is not as snug as the stock case. There is tiny amount of room for movement.

That’s interesting. The original case that I have has a little wiggle room. The previous owner has a piece of soft foam to keep it snug. Tomorrow I plan on going to the local luggage repair places and see how much they want to put on a new handle and to patch the edges which are down to the bare wood. If it’s under $100 give or take I’ll get it repaired.
TKL wants $300 delivered but no Guild logo. Just the TKL logo

Thanks again for posting and replying to me. How much did your case cost? And is the outer top of the case flat or arched?

Here is the case that came with it. There is wiggle room so the original owner put a little foam insert in the upper bout and waist area to make it fit snug.

The acoustic case has more wiggle room than that I believe, but it has less wiggle room than every vintage case that I own. It's relative I guess. If I ever finally and completely get the stink out of the stock case, then I will sell the acoustic case. Best of luck.

Just bought this one on eBay for $150 plus tax free shipping. TKL Guild Case for Jumbo Acoustic. Has the Chinese Guild Logo. But it’s the same dimensions as the Premium Jumbo Case that has the Guild Badge. Should work fine.
coming in a few days!
Thanks fkr all your advice!

It arrived damaged. It’s kinda cheap thin wood. But the x500 fit snug.
returning the case and may just have them exchange it for another one.
but worries me that the case couldn’t even make it across the country boxed up without getting damaged.

You sure it happened during shipping? Obvious damage to the box? Just because it occurred to me maybe it was shipped that way?
"In any case..." If you think it's not quite up to strength that's a valid concern.

Mine stay home, except the D25, it's case has years of little chips and dings like that, tolex is even lifting ever so slightly at the seams in a couple of places, but it's solid. Sucker's heavy. Even weighs more than the guitar, all of 'em do, and the other 2 are the arched top type, but they're near flawless like their guitars.

Bravo your search for the ideal case. I'm a big believer in 'em, mine live in their cases unless they're in my lap. ;)

The box was perfect. Not a mark on it. Could be a dishonest seller. He’s got a whole stash of them. eBay seller. Even though the guitar fit perfectly. It’s definitely a cheaper TKL than their top of the line.
I’ve decided to go for something else. Hopefully it will work out.

Typical guitar hard cases are not designed for protection during shipping. That's the packaging's job.
