Welcome to the Guild family frankieb!

There's just so much information about Guild guitars here, no better place to find anything you want to about Guild guitars. Always great discussions that come from the very hearts of folks who take their "Guildness" very seriously yet humorously too. We're the first to admit we may be a bit psychotic and obsessed but when we're thinking about it we find ourselves cracking a devious smile.....

I love my DV52, a very solid guitar in my hands, great resonance, just a beautiful, very well made instrument.

Got it cleaned up, a new saddle carved and fit, and some fresh strings on. Really loving the tone of this! Here are some pics:

Again, a huge thanks to all on this forum. Without all of you I would never have found out about the DV-52's. I can't get over the tone for the buck aspect of these! I played several D-28's, a couple D-35's, and a few different Taylors while I was hunting for a new git, but am glad to have found this Guild. To my ears the tone is better than any other guitar I tried, of course tone is subjective. Plus I saved enough clams versus the others to have a really healthy nest egg for a future D-55 or F-47M purchase

Thanks for all the comments everyone, this looks to be a really great forum.
What makes it a really great forum is your participation. We love guitars, we love Guilds, but we also love to know about each other. It is a very different place on the web.
Speaking of which, have you seen a dentist about those front teeth?

DV52 seems like one of the great values in the acoustic world... looking at one it's hard to believe that they cost what they do, relative to other US made guitars with similar materials and build quality. Outstanding.

Still, you have to try a full-sized Guild jumbo before committing to a stable of dreads...

That sounds like my journey.. started with a DV-52, now have a JV-52, and love the jumbo more than the dread!!
