I do the same as Ralf.I have found, if you keep your house around 50% humidity, there is no need to humidify your cased guitars, case closed.
Ralph
Here we have a new member and this topic comes up and I'm thinking Al should be here to type endlessly about keeping guitars in their case except when being played!! Of course, Al and I have been known to have a disagreement from time to time. But he's not here and I keep all mine out on stands. There are 8 guitars here in the house and they're all easy to grab and play at any time. Two whole house humidifiers going 24/7/365. If I had to go get the case, lay it down, open it up, and take the guitar out and then repeat that process at the other end when I'm done, I'd never play it. So they're out. If you've got kids and large pets and such it would be a different answer, but definitely easier out.
GAAAAAAHH!!!! We try to not remember that fateful day!! As it was apparently no guitar was safe and I kept grabbing despite being put down to bed over and over. If you're on Ambien, lock the cases and lock the cases in the closet!!Unless of course you're on Ambien...........right Tom?
In that "case".
Just a shot in the dark, but are you a fan of a burst finish???Photo from a couple of years ago, but still doing the music room rotation.
The rest are in cases.
Case, always case. You don't want to case yours? Your perogative. Don't want to wear a mask. Just don't come near me.

That's a worse case scenario, in your case.Yes Sir,
They are all on the wall. If I had then in cases they would hardly get played!
