Anyone tune their 12 sting to standard pitch?

This is interesting - I prefer the sound that comes out of Jumbo Guild tuned down two full steps - standard or open tunings - W mid or heavy/custom strings - these guitars simply can deliver.

I have had 2 F412s and a F212 always tuned to standard. I don't like the sound detuned even with a capo.
As a concession to age and practicing less than I used to I string up with Ernie Ball Earthwood lights with 9's for the high E's. They are the lightest production set I can find. I tried silk and steels some years back and don't care for them... ymmv.

I have always tuned my 12 strings to standard tuning. I've never had any problems with that. I generally use extra light gauge strings.
