I've been making homebrew since I was first introduced in Boulder in 1988. Mostly I brew British ales, using recipes based on 19th century brewing records.
That's cool! I keep going through Ron Pattinson's books, learning more every time I open one. My recipes are on Brewer's Friend; under my name hoosier buddy. I just brewed a SMaSH beer in tribute to the folks at Three Floyds.I've been brewing for many years, must be over thirty! Started with the kits, but quickly moved on to full hop and grain brewing, initially with recipes from a book, but soon after started coming up with my own recipes. Mainly traditional style British Bitters or Dark Ales, or occasionally a Stout. I've tended to use the traditional English Hop varieties, but I am starting to acquire a taste for some of the American style IPAs, so might try experimenting with some of the more citrusy types
